What Amy’s neighbors say:

Amy Fee and I have worked together on critical issues facing Ward 3 for years—-protecting the island’s priceless environment, addressing the disrupting impacts of short term rentals in our neighborhoods, establishing tighter controls on overdevelopment, advocating for wildlife like loggerhead turtles, and promoting workforce housing for younger families and businesses. Amy Fee’s priorities are my priorities! She has dedicated herself to better our community and regularly attends town hall meetings. Now is her time! Please, vote for Amy Fee.” – David AmesHilton Head Island Town Council – Ward 3

I support Amy Fee to be the next member of Town Council to represent Ward 3. I have gotten to know Amy and to understand her Ideas about the future of our island. Her first priority is protection of the island’s character and our environment. She also supports our efforts to promote work force housing through creative projects like North Point. For these and other reasons I urge my friends in Ward 3 to elect Amy Fee to the Town Council of Hilton Head Island.” – Glenn Stanford – Hilton Head Island Twon Council – Ward 6

“Amy Fee is aware that environmental conservation is the cornerstone of the Hilton Head way of life. The natural treasures that we are privileged to experience on the island must not be ignored. I am an island child and support those whose efforts focus on preserving what is left of our pristine landscape, as it was meant to be” – Amber Kuehn, Marine biologist

Residents would have a ardent advocate in Amy Fee as the Ward 3 representative of Town Council. I’ve worked with her in birding and conservation efforts with Hilton Head Audubon, where she is considered a “fireball.” Amy possesses the insight to define core problems, find balanced solutions, and she has the energy to close the deal. She is passionate about protecting Hilton Head’s unique ecosystems, so that others may experience our beaches, marshes, and forests in the 21st century. In fact, Amy spends much of her spare time working for, preserving and protecting Hilton Head for others to enjoy.

As head of the Forest Committee, Amy spearheaded the effort to protect the 30-acre buffer of trees that protects Forest Beach from flooding and hurricanes. She has worked with Town and Council to improve bike paths, safety, security and parking. As a member of the Board of Zoning Appeals, Amy voted against building new and permanent structures on the beach. She was outvoted, and this motivated Amy to run for office to stop overdevelopment on our unique barrier island.” – Rosemary Staples, Retired, Master Naturalist – Hilton Head Island Resident since 1993

I proudly endorse Amy Fee for Hilton Head Island Town Council because she is an excellent collaborator which is something you don’t always see in politics. Having lived on the island for over 45 years, I believe Amy will put the concerns of her constituents above all else and that she will be a great representative of Ward 3. I firmly think she will act with transparency on all subjects that come before the council and know that she cares about this community and the people in it.

Amy lives in my old neighborhood of Forest Beach and serves on the board where I was president for several years. That service to community gives her insight and patience dealing with a myriad of neighborhood problems. Please vote for Amy Fee.” – Pamela Martin Ovens, Author & Publisher – Resident since 1979

She brings a passion and focus to everything she does. Her knowledge of public issues and her commitment to public service is exceptional, and her love for the Island drives her actions. Amy wants to acquaint herself with all constituent concerns in Ward 3 and she certainly has the energy and will to do so. I would like to take this opportunity to announce my endorsement of Amy Fee for Ward 3 Hilton Head Island Town Council.

Amy is a friend and a neighbor I have gotten to know quite well over the past 6 months. She is an accomplished and savvy, fact-driven business person whom has developed a deep understanding of the unique and nuanced dynamics and issues facing our town. She is committed to representing all of Hilton Head Island’s constituents, whether they be year-round or shorter-term residents; those who rent their properties to tourists, and the small businesses who thrive from the value they all contribute. She has worked tirelessly to meet with those constituents to understand their issues and needs. As a resident of Ward 3, I am confident that she will work collaboratively and contribute solutions that enable ALL CONSTITUENTS to enjoy and prosper on this wonderful island we live and work on.

As a former business school professor who has coached many senior executives, I can honestly say that Amy has outstanding leadership skills and will find constructive ways to help town council continue to create a place we can all be proud of.

PLEASE VOTE FOR AMY FEE.  SHE IS THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB AT THIS TIME.David M. Schweiger, P.hD. – Distinguished Professor Emeritus – Darla Moore School of Business – University of South Carolina

As someone who lives, works and plays here in the Forest Beach area, I’m happy to endorse Amy Fee for Town Council. Having assisted her and her husband in the search for their North Forest Beach home and their piece of paradise, I know how much she appreciates our beautiful Island and life here in general. She’s incredibly upbeat, and positive member of our neighborhood, and we’d be lucky to have her as a voice for our area on the Town Council.” – Sean Ryan, Evergreen Realty – Hilton Head Island Resident since 1993

I am HAPPY to endorse Amy Fee for Hilton Head Island Town Council! I have lived in and around Forest Beach since 1982.  Amy is a neighbor and I know her well. Amy understands our needs and concerns!  She is very easy to work with and very approachable and eager to listen. She is for preserving our natural environment, arts and culture, beaches, maritime forests, parks, and more.

Amy is NOT looking to eradicate short term rentals, but wants to address overdevelopment. Not only is she highly educated and has the skills needed for this job, she will be doing it full time and not part time.  Vote AMY FEE! – Mary Pracht Realtor

Amy Fee embodies what all Town Council representatives should be: knowledgeable, factual, professional and bipartisan. She is a team player and has worked with many local charities and other groups, giving of her time and expertise willingly. As longtime resident of Ward 3 (50+ years) and former business owners for 28 years on Hilton Head Island, our priorities of maintaining the island’s beauty and character while protecting its economic drivers align with hers.

Amy is a champion of the environment and shares the vision of Charles Fraser. She is an advocate for the Gullah community. This is quite a balancing act and requires input from many sources. Amy is a great listener and acts in the interest of ALL her island neighbors.
We live in a very special place and Amy will work to keep it that way.
We wholeheartedly support Amy Fee for Ward 3.

As a member of this community, an artist and business owner since 1978, I wholeheartedly endorsed Amy Fee for Ward 3. Her exceptional ability for collaboration and leadership stands out in everything she does. Not only does she say she supports the arts, culture and history of Hilton head, she shows up. Amy is engaged and truly has an interest in seeing the arts flourish on Hilton Head Island. Amy will be a full time representative that has no business interests that would get in the way of her undivided service to the community.

Amy doesn’t just speak the words, she walks the walk. Mira Scott, Artist, Business Owner at Picture This

I am happy to endorse Amy Fee for Hilton Head’s Ward Three Town Council seat. Amy and I met when she was on the Board of Directors for local nonprofit, Second Helpings, where I was employed as the Operations Administrator. Through our work together, I’ve learned that she is a dedicated volunteer and gives 110% to any project she leads or works on. She is a great communicator, which is an imperative quality for negotiating with other Council members to implement the best decisions for our island. She genuinely loves this island and wants to protect the things that make it unique—our gorgeous beaches and waterways, Gullahgeechee culture, the thriving arts and culture scene. Please consider supporting Amy so that she can support Ward Three and its interests. – Leah Long, Executive Director at World Affairs Council Hilton Head

I am whole-heartedly endorsing Amy Fee for Town Council, representing Ward 3 (where I live). My wife and I have been full-time residents for eleven years, property owners for sixteen years and have been visiting Hilton Head since 1989.

I’m endorsing Amy first for her experience, capabilities, knowledge and passion. She had an exemplary business career and since moving to Hilton Head she has been dedicated to volunteering her time and service in numerous roles with both the town and the Forest Beach community.

Second, I’m endorsing Amy because she believes in the “right” things: a balance between development, tourism and the needs of residents, protecting our incredible environment, supporting important initiatives like work force housing and the new bridge corridor, nurturing our commitment to the arts, and celebrating our amazing Gullah heritage.

Third, and maybe most important, I’m endorsing Amy because elections are about “choice” and she is clearly the right choice in this Ward 3 contest. Amy represents US, the actual residents of Ward 3; our needs, interests and priorities are her priority. Her opponent is aligned with developers, builders, real estate firms and property management companies. Now none of those constituencies are “bad”, in fact they’re critical to our economy; but they already have an over-sized voice in our community and politics. As residents, we need someone who makes US her top priority.

In the Forest Beach neighborhood, Amy’s campaign signs are in the yards of actual residents who live here. Her opponent’s signs are all in the yards of rental houses owned by non-residents, placed by property management companies. That tells you everything you need to know…
