What Amy’s neighbors say:

David Ames

Amy Fee and I have worked together on critical issues facing Ward 3 for years—-protecting the island’s priceless environment, addressing the disrupting impacts of short term rentals in our neighborhoods, establishing tighter controls on overdevelopment, advocating for wildlife like loggerhead turtles, and promoting workforce housing for younger families and businesses. Amy Fee’s priorities are my priorities! She has dedicated herself to better our community and regularly attends town hall meetings. Now is her time! Please, vote for Amy Fee.” – David Ames

Glenn Stanford

I support Amy Fee to be the next member of Town Council to represent Ward 3. I have gotten to know Amy and to understand her Ideas about the future of our island. Her first priority is protection of the island’s character and our environment. She also supports our efforts to promote work force housing through creative projects like North Point. For these and other reasons I urge my friends in Ward 3 to elect Amy Fee to the Town Council of Hilton Head Island.” – Glenn Stanford

Glenn Stanford
Ward 6 Town Council
2018 – 2024

As someone who lives, works and plays here in the Forest Beach area, I’m happy to endorse Amy Fee for Town Council. Having assisted her and her husband in the search for their North Forest Beach home and their piece of paradise, I know how much she appreciates our beautiful Island and life here in general. She’s incredibly upbeat, and positive member of our neighborhood, and we’d be lucky to have her as a voice for our area on the Town Council.

Residents would have an ardent advocate in Amy Fee as the Ward 3 representative of Town Council. I’ve worked with her in birding and conservation efforts with Hilton Head Audubon, where she is considered a “fireball.” Amy possesses the insight to define core problems, find balanced solutions, and she has the energy to close the deal. She is passionate about protecting Hilton Head’s unique ecosystems, so that others may experience our beaches, marshes, and forests in the 21st century. In fact, Amy spends much of her spare time working for, preserving and protecting Hilton Head for others to enjoy.
As head of the Forest Beach Owners Association, Forest Committee, Amy spearheads the effort to protect the 35-acre Lawton Beach Forest Preserve, which is a Maritime Forest buffer of dunes and trees, which protects our Island from flooding and hurricanes. She is actively involved with Town Council to revise the Land Management Ordinance, regarding specimen tree protections and tree canopy. She successfully worked with Town Council and Forest Beach Owners Association to decrease the Floor Area Ratio in Forest Beach from .55 to .45 to prevent future over-building in the single-family residential community. Amy is a member of the Board of Zoning Appeals, and believes in private property rights and right-sized, balanced development in our community.

Hilton Head Island’s unique character is unlike any other along the Atlantic coast; Amy intends to maintain that distinction.

We have known Amy Fee for years through her work with the Forest Beach Owners Association. We’ve found her to be dedicated and extremely hardworking in making our voice heard to the Town Council. She brings a passion and focus to everything she does. Her knowledge of public issues and her commitment to public service is exceptional, and her love for the Island drives her actions. Amy wants to acquaint herself with all constituent concerns in Ward 3 and she certainly has the energy and will to do so. She will work hard for all of us and strive to meet the assorted neighborhood needs in her district.
